Pendleton - The Pendleton District held an Operating While Intoxicated Saturation Patrol that started on Friday the 27th, around 7 p.m., and ran to 4 a.m. on Saturday the 28th. The purpose of the patrol was to remove impaired drivers from Pendleton District roadways before they caused needless pain, suffering, and death to innocent victims. In addition Pendleton Troopers assisted with a pursuit that started in Jonesboro in Grant County, helping to stop a Habitual Traffic Violator that was also charged with Operating While Intoxicated and Resisting Law Enforcement.

The Pendleton District covers the eight counties of Delaware, Madison, Randolph, Henry, Wayne and Union as well as Rush and Fayette counties.  Motorists are encouraged to report suspected impaired drivers by calling 911.
