Miller Welcomes Miller to the State Senate: State Sen. Pat Miller (left) welcomes Senator-elect Pete Miller (right) as the newest member of the Indiana General Assembly. Pete took the oath of office today, officially becoming the State Senator of District 24 as he fills the Senate seat vacated by Indiana’s new Secretary of State, former Sen. Connie Lawson. He was sworn in by Indiana Supreme Court Justice Robert Rucker. Pat (R-Indianapolis) and Pete (R-Avon) both represent central Indiana.
