[ISP] Kentucky Man Arrested on Warrants for Attempted Murder and Assault

Entry Description

Perry County, Tell City: Last night Trooper Charlie Johnson, along with a Perry County Sheriff’s Deputy and a Tell City Police Officer arrested a Kentucky man that was wanted on warrants for Attempted Murder and Assault.

Last night at approximately 8:15 p.m. CDT officers located Shawn L. McGan, 25, Hawesville, KY at ThyssenKrupp Waupaca in Tell City and arrested him without incident.  McGan had warrants issued out of Ohio County Kentucky for his arrest for Attempted Murder and Assault.

After locating McGan, Trooper Johnson read the warrants to him and transported him to the Perry County Jail where he is awaiting extradition back to Kentucky.

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
