Entry Description
Noble County, IN-A Kendallville man is in the Noble County Jail tonight, without bond, after he was arrested on four preliminary felony drug-related charges, following a traffic stop by the Indiana State Police.
At approximately 3:40 pm, a traffic stop was made by Master Trooper Brad Shultz on a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro for speeding and failing to signal a lane change. During the course of the stop, Shultz walked his K-9 partner Gunnar around the Camaro and when he alerted, Shultz and Senior Trooper Marc Leatherman conducted a search of that vehicle.
The search yielded three grams of meth and almost 500 methadone pills. The driver, Ernest Ray Arnold, Jr., 34 of Kendallville was taken into custody and incarcerated in the Noble County Jail without bond. Preliminary charges are listed below and formal charges will be filed by the Noble County Prosecutor’s Office.
