[ISP] Two Jackson County Men Face Child Molest Charges

Entry Description
Jackson County: Two Jackson County men were arrested yesterday on charges of Child Molesting.  According to Detective Rachel Hunt, in mid January, 2012 she received information from the Jackson County Division of Family Services it was suspected a nine-year-old male was a possible victim of abuse by two family members.  The investigation eventually led to charges being filed against 55-year-old Paul E. Stanton and 45-year-old Jerry L. Stanton both of Jackson County.  Both were arrested yesterday without incident and taken to the Jackson County Jail.  Paul Stanton stands charged with two counts of Child Molesting (one Class A Felony and one Class C Felony) and Jerry Stanton stands charged with one count of Child Molesting (Class A Felony).  Detective Hunt was assisted by Detectives Jan Graves and Roger Drew and Trooper Ray Hunt.

Persons arrested are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
