Cutler, Carroll County-Indiana State Police Trooper Ryan Winters arrested a Cutler man, this afternoon, on three felonies that stemmed from an alleged domestic.

Yesterday, afternoon, Saturday, February 11th, at approximately 2:30 pm (EST), Trooper Winters responded to Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Lafayette reference a forty-four-year-old female who was being treated for injuries that she received the night before, Friday, February 10th, at a residence on State Road 75 in Cutler.

The female stated she couldn’t seek any medical assistance until he (suspect) left for work on Saturday.  The female was battered about the head and suffered two ruptured ear drums, with a possible hearing loss in one of the ears.

The man met with Trooper Winters today and confessed to the alleged battery.  He was taken and incarcerated at the Carroll County Jail where he is being held on a $50,000 bond.

• Kerry J. Weigand, 45 of Cutler
1. Aggravated Battery, Class B Felony
2. Confinement Resulting in Bodily Injury (Two Counts), Class C Felonies
