Entry Description
Vanderburgh County – Friday night, January 13, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Indiana State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on US 41 at Ruffian Way that injured both drivers and a passenger.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Mark Findley, 52, of Mari, WV, was driving his 2007 Dodge Nitro westbound on Ruffian Way when he turned north onto US 41 failing to yield the right of way to a 2009 Honda Accord driven by Barbara Peterson, 55, of Haubstadt. Findley was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville for non-life threatening injuries. His daughter, Alainna Lantz, 21, was air-lifted to St. Mary’s Hospital for facial injuries. She is currently being treated for non-life threatening injuries. Peterson was taken to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville where she is being treated for non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing.
