Entry Description
Professional Customer Service class returns to lineup
If you are in need of some Professional Customer Service training, take time now to sign up for the class. The class will be held Tuesday, Jan. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon in IGCS conference room 16. Space is limited, so enroll early.
Expect to learn by hearing, seeing and participating. The course content will include:

Defining excellent customer service
- Importance of building a positive memorable experience
- Benefits of pushing the customer service ceiling
- Importance of personal accountability
- Basic customer needs and expectations and accommodating special needs
- Building rapport through body language and tone
- Building rapport through acknowledging, affirming and assuring the customer (language matters)
- A word about stress management
Register for the course by logging into the PeopleSoft® Enterprise Learning Management System. Employees will utilize self service to submit enrollment requests. Once an employee submits the request, it will be routed to supervisors for approval. Supervisors will utilize manager self service to approve enrollment requests and assign learning activities included in the employee work profile. Instructions for using employee and manager self service are provided below.
