[ISP] Traffic Stop Leads to 5 Arrests, 14 Felony Charges and 16 Guns Seized

Entry Description

Rochester, Fulton County-A traffic stop in Rochester yesterday evening, led to a search warrant at 4903 N. 750 W in Fulton County where a meth lab, meth, marijuana, cocaine, numerous paraphernalia and a large amount of firearms were discovered.

Arrested and Charged were:

1. Randy W. Overmyer, 51 of Rochester (resides in above residence)

  • Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine (Class B Felony)
  • Possession of Methamphetamine (Class D Felony)
  • Illegal Possession of Hypodermic Needle (Class D Felony)
  • Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Class D Felony)
  • Operating While Intoxicated (Class C Misdemeanor)

2. James W. Fagan, 41 of Rochester

  • Manufacturing Methamphetamine (Class B Felony)
  • Possession of Methamphetamine (Class D Felony)
  • Illegal Possession of Hypodermic Needle (Class D Felony)
  • Possession of Marijuana (Class A Misdemeanor)

3. Trista E. Odell, 29 of Rochester

  • Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine (Class B Felony)
  • Possession of Methamphetamine (Class D Felony)
  • Visiting a Common Nuisance (Class B Misdemeanor)
  • Neglect of a Dependent (Class D Felony)

4. Marshal W. Wilson, 68 of Winamac

  • Possession of Cocaine (Class D Felony) 
  • Possession of Paraphernalia (Class D Felony)

5. Amanda Tuttle, 23 of Rochester

  • Possession of Methamphetamine (Class D Felony)
  • Possession of Scheduled II Controlled Substance (Class D Felony)

A six-year old minor child of Trista Odell was at the residence and was turned over to the Fulton County Department of Child Services.

All five were taken to Fulton County Jail.

Sixteen guns (one handgun and fifteen long rifles) were also seized.

This is an on-going investigation.
