Charbonneau conducting town hall meetings
Opportunity to voice opinion on governor’s property tax plan
(STATEHOUSE) – Indiana’s antiquated property tax system will be reformed in the upcoming session, but how to make significant, permanent reform remains the subject of debate. Sen. Ed Charbonneau (R-Valparaiso) encourages constituents to attend an upcoming town hall meeting and voice their opinions on the various property tax reform options, particularly the plan introduced by Gov. Mitch Daniels.
“When Gov. Daniels introduced his plan, people’s reactions varied,” Charbonneau said. ”I’m responsible for representing the people in District 5 and I must know how they feel about the governor’s proposal.
