The greatest asset of the 21st Century Scholars Program is the Scholars themselves! With this in mind, the 21st Century Scholars Ambassador Program was launched during the spring 2013 semester. Its purpose is to recruit 21st Century Scholars to be volunteers and train them to support other Scholars in the program.
During the spring 2013 semester, the 21st Century Scholars Ambassador Program will focus on recruiting current college 21st Century Scholars to be Ambassadors, but eventually the program will expand to include high school scholars and 21st Century Scholar Alumni. Ambassadors will have an opportunity to be trained in a variety of areas, including recruiting eligible 7th and 8th grade students into the 21st Century Scholars Program, leading college tours for Scholars and acting as peer mentors and tutors for fellow Scholars.
